The confocalDT sensors consist of passive components and do not emit heat. They are optimized for vacuum applications up to UHV.

The confocalDT sensors are available with different aperture angles. The large aperture angle with high numerical aperture (NA number) produces a small light spot (x-y resolution) as well as a high z-axis resolution for the detection of the smallest details with high accuracy.

The compact design with a diameter from 4 mm enables integration in restricted spaces. The 90° models require a significantly reduced installation depth.

The confocalDT sensors provide an excellent signal-to-noise ratio and high speed measurements with maximum precision. Their fast surface compensation enables exceptional signal stability with varying surfaces.
